John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Bouvier on their wedding day, September 12th, 1953.

63 years ago today, John F. Kennedy and his love, Jacqueline Bouvier, married in Newport, Rhode Island. 

At the time, Kennedy was a Senator from Massachusetts and Bouvier was a photographer for The Washington Times-Herald. They would go on to be one of the most famous, iconic couples in American history. Tragedy separated them, and Jacqueline eventually remarried following Kennedy's assassination, but their influence on American society will last an eternity.
